Healing Stories From a Rabbi

Religion can harm, but it can also heal. Stories hold great power to heal.

I like keeping things real—with love, always—whether it’s talking about my own life, Judaism, or Torah.

Sometimes life is sweet, sometimes bitter. My attitude involves both of these—with a good helping of reverence for the awesomeness of being here, and also irreverence and humor.

As a rabbi, I bring a unique perspective that comes from my Communist upbringing.

Judaism brought me sweetness, but also a lot to grapple with.

I hope you’ll join me on this healing journey as I can bring you meaning in Torah through storytelling, with relevant perspectives for the times we’re living in as I discover new lessons along the way.
