Black Fire, White Fire, and Hidden Secrets – Exploring the Weekly Parashot
According to our ancient rabbis, absolutely everything can be found in Torah. Jewish mystical tradition teaches that our scriptures are full of secrets waiting to be uncovered. We talk of “black fire” as the letters on the scroll, and “white fire” as the spaces between them with their hidden meaning. It is in the “white fire” that we find ourselves, as well as the voices of the marginalized.
This class is designed for those who wish to find themselves in Torah through ancient contemplative practices, connecting to Divine Flow to discover the lessons needed to live life in an authentic, heart-centered way, and to tackle all that gets in the way of it. The course takes us through the end of the Book of Exodus, transitions into Leviticus with all its messiness, and lands us in Passover spiritually strengthened to go forward in what often feels like an unhinged world. We invite you to join us on the journey.

Cost: $150 for Romemu members / $200 for non-members.
