Who am I
and
Where am I going?
A lifetime of participating in the societal struggle for economic, social, racial, gender equity, and justice, is woven into the very fabric of my being. It informs everything I do, and every interaction I have.
The world—and Judaism with it—is going through a huge paradigm shift.
As a rabbi, I see my role as pushing that shift along.
My mission is to open doors and expand boundaries in all directions, both within and outside, the Jewish world.
Because of where I come from, and my perspective on the world, I am passionate about addressing, and capable of meeting the needs of:
Those who see themselves as spiritual but not religious
Those who come from, or are creating, interfaith families
Those who wish to weave cultures together
Those in need of Spanish-speaking Jewish clergy
Those who identify as LGBTQ
Those born to a Jewish father but not a Jewish mother
Those who “feel” Jewish and wish to be recognized as such
Jews of Color
Jews by Choice
Those who typically feel on the margins of Jewish community for a myriad of other reasons
